Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate numerical control program machines for fabricating parts. The successful candidate will plan and create numerical control programs for contour path machining of metal parts analyze drawings and design data to determine dimensions and cutting paths and compute angular and linear dimensions. Responsibilities include preparing geometric layouts writing instruction sheets and cutter lists and creating machine instruction programs. The machinist will ensure the accuracy of machine instructions by comparing encoded tapes or printouts with original program sheets revising programs as needed and observing machine operations during trial runs.Flexibility to interchange roles within the department is essential.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating numerical control program machines.
• Ability to plan and create numerical control programs for contour path machining of metal parts.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret drawings sketches and design data to determine dimensions and configurations of cuts.
• Capacity to perform multiple tasks concurrently in a fastpaced environment.
• Flexibility to interchange roles within the department.
