Database Engineer Parttime Remote
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- Experience with SQL and working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server Azure SQL Database)..
- Understanding of data warehouses and dimensional data models.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Very Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Job: REMOTE Role as Database Engineer with experience of 5-10 years - Ability to create and manage complex queries - Ability to support a large Postgresql database in Azure - Ability to support an AzureSQL database in Azure - Ability to perform full backups and restore - Ability to monitor capacity and performance - Ability to review explain plans and performance metrics and optimize the database - Ability to work CST hours - Ability to work with developers - Experience managing tasks in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or Jira
