Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Spearhead innovative design efforts, ensuring projects balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
- Technical Coordination: Utilize BIM and other advanced tools for effective integration of building systems, enhancing design precision.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring their vision and requirements are accurately reflected in the design.
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the architectural projects, ensuring adherence to design, schedule, and budget.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to maintain high standards in design and construction.
- Mentorship: Foster professional growth within the team, sharing knowledge and experience.
- Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of industry advancements, particularly in sustainability, to lead innovation in design practices.
- Sustainability Advocacy: Promote sustainable design practices, aiming for environmental certifications where applicable.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in REVIT and fluency in Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and Enscape.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Exceptional design skills with the ability to communicate complex proposals effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect with 10+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program or equivalent professional experience.
- Passionate, curious, and proactive, with a willingness to engage in both teaching and learning.
