Lovisa Opportunity:The summary:

The Category Assistant assists the Category Manager in analyzing planning and executing any necessary tasks to achieve sales and margin goals within the piercing department.

• Liaise with suppliers and vendors on product development including but not exclusive to studs menu boards marketing displays & piercing equipment
• Liaise with store development on all new piercing equipment and displays including but not exclusive to menu boards marketing displays & piercing equipment
• Update Category Manager on progress of all items in development ensuring agreed in store dates can be met
• Ensure all prices and delivery details are available for ordering of equipment or range planner preparation for product
• Liaise with Suppliers on all new line samples ensuring samples arrive on time for ranging and sign off
• Approve all development & pre production samples in a timely manner to ensure delivery is achieved
• Prepare briefs for learning and development when new equipment display or products are being launched to educate store teams on their purpose use or characteristics
• Liaise with suppliers on all new line orders to ensure delivery is on track
• In collaboration with the Category Manager brief the marketing team on any new campaigns or marketing items required for new fixtures display or new season
• Liaise with marketing team weekly to ensure all art is approved on time and orders are on track
• Research competitor marketing activity and provide monthly round up to Category Manager
