Job Description

Our client is a leading eMobility company with a groundbreaking EVCharging solution. They specialize in wireless charging systems that allow electric vehicles to charge while driving. This innovative system integrates mechanics software electronics and highvoltage electricity. Currently our client is looking for an experienced business development professional to join their office in Cologne.

The business development team is responsible for driving business growth by forming strategic alliances with key partners exploring new verticals defining innovative use cases and positioning and selling to major customers in targeted segments. In this role you will lead these initiatives from start to finish working closely with the product and sales teams.

Your daily tasks will include:
  • Gain deep understanding of the company s products strategies and technical systems to effectively communicate value offerings.
  • Develop expertise in the transportation ecosystem to identify growth and collaboration opportunities.
  • Leverage knowledge of EU incentive programs to drive commercial opportunities particularly in Germany Austria Switzerland and the Netherlands.
  • Identify and respond to RFI RFQ and RFP opportunities to advance business engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key market stakeholders to promote business opportunities and collaborations.
  • Conduct market and use case analysis to support business models and refine value propositions.
  • Design and implement sales and delivery strategies aligned with the company s gotomarket objectives.
  • Manage complex business engagements from initiation to closure ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Analyze market feedback to inform strategic product decisions and improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to global partners addressing both business and technological challenges.
  • Identify upsell and crosssell opportunities by understanding clients daily challenges and needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums to promote market discussions and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in B2G or B2B sales/business development with a strong emphasis on closing deals.
  • Proven track record in managing nurturing and expanding partner ecosystems.
  • Experience working in fastpaced environments particularly within the mobility EVs ports airports or transit sectors.
  • Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing complex business engagements from initiation to closing.
  • Experience in building highvalue relationships at the executive level with partners and customers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
  • Detailoriented organized and a selflearner with a general understanding of technical details and specifications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Strong understanding of local EV mandates and incentive regulations/programs (advantage).
  • Previous technical or engineering roles (advantage).
  • Entrepreneurship experience (advantage).

5+ Jahre Erfahrung im B2G- oder B2B-Vertrieb/Business Development mit starkem Fokus auf den Abschluss von Gesch ften. Nachgewiesene Erfolge im Management, der Pflege und dem Ausbau von Partner kosystemen. Erfahrung in schnelllebigen Umgebungen, insbesondere in den Bereichen Mobilit t, E-Fahrzeuge, H fen, Flugh fen oder Transit. Erforderlicher Hochschulabschluss; bevorzugt mit weiterf hrendem Abschluss. Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und dem Management komplexer Gesch ftsvorg nge von der Initiierung bis zum Abschluss. F higkeit, hochwertige Beziehungen auf F hrungsebene zu Partnern und Kunden aufzubauen. Hervorragende m ndliche und schriftliche Kommunikationsf higkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch. Detailorientiert, organisiert und ein Selbstlerner mit allgemeinem Verst ndnis f r technische Details und Spezifikationen. Bereitschaft zu Reisen von bis zu 30 % der Zeit. Gutes Verst ndnis der lokalen Vorschriften und Anreizprogramme f r E-Fahrzeuge (von Vorteil). Erfahrung in technischen oder ingenieurtechnischen Positionen (von Vorteil).
