Tasks
Position Summary
The Content Editor will assist in the creation and refinement of new blog articles whitepapers and course material. The content editor will be responsible for:
- Read content and correct spelling punctuation and grammatical errors (70%)
- Rewrite text to make it easier for readers to understand (20%)
- Verify facts cited in material for publication (10%)
Requirements
Education:
- Possessing or pursuing a university degree in a communications journalism or English
Experience:
- 13 years of working experience in content editiing (preferred)
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
- Great attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to give constructive feedback
- Conceptual creative abilities
- Ability to create stories
- Timemanagement skills
- Communication skills
- Handles rejection
- Curiosity and the desire to learn
- Native English speaker
