About the Role:

The Lighting design role is to design and plan lighting and electrical systems while working in collaboration with interior designers engineers or architects and design products for residential commercial or industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with lighting maps designs for projects
  
• Maintain accurate and timely detailed records in databases in all related platforms
  
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results
  
• Work closely with other teams to keep workflows and quality consistent across all environments
  
• Design all new lighting projects and prepare calculations
  
• Assist clients with design questions quotations and technical specifications
  
• Produce 2D and 3D visualisations of lighting designs
  
• Assist the BDM team with accurate quotations and energy saving calculation
  
• Document management of concept drawings calculation and lighting schedule
  

Requirements

• Advanced software skills in AGI32 and Microsoft Office required
  
• AutoCAD SalesForce and Revit skills desirable
  
• Experience with energy efficient lighting design
  
• Sound knowledge and experience working with Australian Building Standards
  
• Experience with Cin7 System or similar inventory software and intermediate level MS suite
  
• Customer service skills and capacity to undertake a wide range of tasks simultaneously
  
• Ability to prioritise strong organisational skills and time management skills
  
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of management and customers
  
• Strong verbal and communication skills and telephone manner
  
• Customer focus with good customer service skills
  
• Selfmotivated with ability to adapt to changing priorities
  
• Ability to work effectively in teams
  
• Ability to show resilience in the face of frustration and demonstrate flexibility

Setup and Location: Officebased/Hybrid (Ortigas Alabang Pampanga or Cebu)

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Technical: At least 5-7 years + postgraduate experience. Bachelor of Structural or Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia essential. High level of competence in the use of Strand7 (nice-to-have), and Space Gass (required). Highly skilled at producing neat, auditable, hand calculation and calculations in Microsoft Excel, Mathcad or similar software. Ability to create engineering reports. Experienced in designing to AS4100 and relevant Australian Standards (must-have). Competence in using Permissible Stress techniques for analysis as well as Limit State Design techniques. Experience with the design of Industrial structures is desirable e.g. large workshops, material handling, and processing plants; High degrees of competence in the design of concrete and steel structures. Strong organisational and system ability that is following structures for work flows, numbering and filing. Highly competent problem solver. Sound understanding of construction principles and methods. Personal: Ability to deliver quality projects concurrently in an efficient manner. Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written. Team player, experienced with multi-disciplinary teams. Nice to Haves: CPEng or eligible. Registered Professional Engineer QLD (RPEQ), or eligible. Experience in working for engineering consultancies. Experience in studies and the level of design required for these. Understanding in the design of mine site structures such as conveyors, process plant structures, materials handling structures and large workshops. Experience in reviewing and modifying existing structures for upgrades and or remediation.
