Role Overview:
As our Injection Molding Process Leader you ll be instrumental in overseeing our injection molding operations ensuring efficiency and driving innovation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Machine Management: Oversee daily startup and troubleshoot multiple injection molding machines.
- Trial Runs: Supervise and evaluate trial runs for new parts.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve process issues to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
- Operations Oversight: Ensure seamless operation of critical molding tasks.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Perform robotics and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Tooling Coordination: Manage tooling repairs and liaise with tool shops.
- Design Review: Assist in reviewing tooling designs and manufacturability.
- Supplies Management: Order and manage supplies for presses and mold repairs.
- Documentation: Maintain and update ERP system documentation related to schedule changes.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in morning meetings and work closely with the site leadership team.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Who We re Looking For:
We seek handson professionals who excel in a collaborative team environment and are adept at problemsolving on the production floor. Qualifications include:
Required:
- High school diploma; degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar injection molding role.
- Expertise in injection molding process troubleshooting.
- Ability to start up new molds from scratch.
- Experience in hydraulic and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Proven continuous improvement skills (e.g. scrap reduction efficiency gains).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills:
- RJG Certification.
- Experience with robotics and/or PLCs.
- Background in automotive or highspeed manufacturing environments.
- Tooling experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
