Job Description
Position: MRI Supervisor
The MRI Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the MRI department at our facility in Berlin Vermont. This includes managing a team of MRI technologists ensuring highquality patient care maintaining equipment and supplies and implementing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of MRI technologists including hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations
Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the MRI department
Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment and ensure proper functioning
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control standards
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and ensure highquality patient care
Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
Stay uptodate with advancements in MRI technology and procedures
Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MRI technologist with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
ARRT (MR) certification required
State licensure or certification as required by law
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and quality control standards
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment
Proficiency in using MRI equipment and software
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
