Job Description
Family Law Paralegal
(3 Open Positions in Maryland)

Our client is a prestigious and rapidly expanding law firm with offices in Maryland DC Virginia & Florida. A successful candidate will be able to assist during all phases of the immigration process and willing to provide a highquality level of client support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing and filing applications with USCIS including but not limited to familybased
- Handling communication with clients other attorney offices judges etc.
- Maintaining and updating filing system and client files and information.
- Drafting and filing basic legal documents discovery requests and correspondence.
- Monitoring deadlines and maintaining calendars
- Efiling court documents.
- Preparation and filing of custody applications in connection with applications for Special Immigrant Juvenile status.
- Schedule & calendar hearings mediations and depositions
- Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles preparing and organizing exhibits organizing and coordinating witnesses filing motions and assisting with client meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Residing in Maryland
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Minimum Education: College Education or equivalent
- Immigration experience (At least 2 years of experience)
