CCI Group founded a decade ago brings years of expertise in the justice system to offer Certified Legal Interpreters for courts. We have expanded our services to include interpretation and translation for a diverse range of clients including government agencies educational institutions and professional conferences. We are now seeking highly skilled Brazilian PortugueseSpanish simultaneous interpreters for an upcoming medical conference focused on arthroplasty of hip and knee joints.
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Brazilian PortugueseSpanish simultaneous interpreters for a technical medical conference on arthroplasty. This role involves realtime interpretation of complex medical terminology ensuring clear and accurate communication between participants. This is a remote freelance opportunity allowing you to work from anywhere in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide simultaneous interpretation from Brazilian Portuguese to Spanish and vice versa during the conference sessions.
- Accurately interpret medical terminology specifically related to arthroplasty of hip and knee joints.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Prepare by reviewing relevant materials provided before the event.
- Work collaboratively with other interpreters and event organizers to ensure a smooth interpretation process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical interpretation with a strong focus on simultaneous interpretation.
- Proven experience interpreting in medical conferences specifically those involving technical and specialized terminology.
- Nativelevel fluency in both Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish.
- Indepth understanding of medical terminology related to arthroplasty of hip and knee joints.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage the fastpaced nature of simultaneous interpretation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification in interpretation is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical interpretation, with a strong focus on simultaneous interpretation.
