Job Title: Strategy and Product Development Lead(Credit and Loan Fintech)
Location: Lagos Nigeria
Job Type: Fulltime

Our client is a leading financial services provider specializing in offering salarybacked loans to government employees in Nigeria. The organization is committed to delivering innovative financial solutions and ensuring financial inclusion for customers.
Job Summary:
The strategy and Product Development Lead will be responsible for defining and executing the companys strategic direction developing new products and enhancing existing ones to meet market demands and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategy development and product management within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company s business objectives.
Lead the development and enhancement of credit and loan products to meet customer needs.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products and services.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to bring new products to market and improve existing ones.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of strategic and product initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including partners investors and regulatory bodies.
Prepare and present strategic and product development reports to senior management and the board of directors.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Provide training and support to staff on new products and strategic initiatives.
Stay uptodate with industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or a related field. A Master s degree or relevant certifications (e.g. PMP PRM) is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategy development and product management within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of the financial services sector particularly in credit and loan businesses.
Excellent strategic thinking analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proven ability to develop and launch new products.
Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
