The role

We are looking for a proactive driven Recruitment and Onboarding Business Partner t o develop implement and facilitate our recruitment and onboarding strategy to fulfil the short medium and longterm needs and goals of our business as well as the longterm strategic vision. Provide guidance and counsel to all Hiring Managers to maintain a successful people centric business.


This is a pivotal role in shaping the first steps of our employees within our organisation providing a positive candidate experience for both internal and external candidates. Your mission is to ensure new team members seamlessly transition into their roles.

You are crucial in designing and executing robust onboarding programmes beyond paperwork. You will be responsible for crafting compelling orientation initiatives developing informative training materials and ensuring our new team members embark on a smooth and positive journey into our organisation.

In partnership with #TeamSinewave you are setting the stage for their success and longterm growth within our organisation.

An idea of what youll be doing:

  • You will develop recruitment and onboarding processes to deliver KPIs.
  • You will leverage systems and software to streamline recruitment and onboarding encompassing employee record management progress tracking and task automation.
  • You will implement and track key performance metrics related to attraction recruitment selection and onboarding such as timetohire cost to hire time to productivity employee satisfaction and retention rates using the data to drive improvements.
  • You will manage our recruitment budget.
  • You will build relationships with hiring managers to understand and deliver on recruitment needs.
  • You will coordinate all activities throughout the recruitment process including managing our partner agencies.
  • You will source top talent using available tools and resources including agencies where necessary.
  • You will be building maintaining and promoting Sinewave s talent pool.
  • You will assist existing employees when they move to a new department or position.
  • You will collect valuable feedback from both new hires and managers to continually enhance the onboarding process.
  • You will provide ongoing guidance mentorship and support to new employees during their initial months addressing questions concerns and helping them acclimatis e to the work environment.
  • Youll be working closely with departmental leaders to create personalised onboarding plans tailored to specific roles.
  • You will develop hiring managers on interviewing and assessment techniques
  • You will be working in partnership with our marketing team to develop our employer brand.


Requirements

When you join us you will go through our topnotch induction and onboarding process and have opportunities to develop further through our in house training academy.

Youll have a proven track record of:
  • Working in partnership with peers and key stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes on time and budget.
  • Providing guidance and support to hiring managers for the endtoend recruitment process including role scope advertising and selection
  • Designing and leading external recruitment activities and attending events job fairs career events.
  • Designing and implementing a robust onboarding programme aligned with the company s goals and values. (first day first week first month and first quarter)
  • Coordinating and overseeing training sessions and workshops equipping new hires with the skills and knowledge required for effective job performance.
  • Providing comprehensive guidance and support to new hires throughout the entire onboarding process.
  • Build the company s professional network through relationships with HR professionals colleagues and other partners

Youll already have experience & qualifications in:

  • Full Driving Licence (Maximum of 3 points).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in People Team particularly in roles related to onboarding employee development or HR Management
  • Strong understanding of modern recruitment techniques tools and technologies including applicant tracking systems (ATS) job boards and social media platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate positive relationships particularly in supporting new hires integrate smoothly into their roles.
  • The capacity to respond flexibly to evolving organisational needs and priorities.
  • Detailoriented and able to maintain high levels of accuracy in documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices onboarding processes and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and onboarding software/tools.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience; willingness to undertake a professional qualification
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
