About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients stateoftheart materials handling systems. Your daytoday responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing a range of equipment providing onsite support to clients and ensuring minimal downtime for critical operations. This is a handson role that requires a proactive approach technical knowhow and the ability to build strong relationships with clients. A van will be provided by the client for everyday use.

Working Hours

This is a fulltime role with working hours from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You can expect a balanced worklife schedule with no weekend work allowing you to enjoy your personal time while contributing effectively during your work hours.

Key Duties

• Perform maintenance repair and servicing of materials handling equipment onsite.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide expert advice.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and communicate findings to the office.
• Work collaboratively with the internal team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer preferably within the materials handling or related industries.
• Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Full UK driving licence.
