Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Disabled Care Worker to join our team on a fulltime permanent basis. In this role you will support seniors either in a residential aged care facility or through inhome care services. Your primary focus will be to assist clients with their daily activities enhance their overall wellbeing and ensure they receive highquality care. This role requires a blend of personal support clinical assistance and companionship.

Key Responsibilities

Accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities

Assisting clients with their mobility

Preparing food for clients

Arranging social activities

Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning

Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing

Providing companionship friendship and emotional support

May do shopping and run errands

May live in with the person

Required Qualification & Work Experience

Disabled Care Worker Trainee
  • Offshore
    • At least 12 months of experience (or study equivalent) in Disabled Care Worker within the last 24 months.
    • PTE 30
  • Onshore: Opportunity for 462/485 Visa Holders

Disabled Care Worker

  • Have at least 2 year of work experience as a Disabled Care Worker
  • At least a relevant AQF Certificate III in Individual Support or higher qualification or equivalent or 3 years of relevant work experience to substitute for the qualification.
  • English requirement: IELTS score of 5.0 overall (or equivalent) and minimum of IELTS score 4.0 (or equivalent) for individual bands.
