Job Purpose
- Responsible for business development & Preparation of proposal in Oman region.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Reporting to the Department Manager
- Support Preparation of TechnoCommercial Proposal for Service Jobs (Service Project LCA Training and Analyzer Maintenance)
- Achieve assigned sales targets for all Yokogawa Automation products in identified regions and segments.
- Recognize sales opportunities and develop new accounts with key customers.
- Sales & Marketing Activities for Systems (DCS & Safety) and Products (Analyzer / PCI / TMI) which mainly include
- Technical Discussions with Customer & End User
- Technical Clarifications to Customers Queries on Proposal
- System Presentations (DCS & Safety Systems)
- Organize product presentations (Analyzer PCI & TMI) with help of technical team
- Interactions with RSC for Additional Support (Technical as well as Commercial).
- Review Service projects Contractual Technical product Specification and Standard requirements.
- Works diligently to achieve the Sales & Marketing objectives and targets of Sales team.
- Overall coordination with Customers Clients Vendors for the Service opportunity.
- Responsible for Coordination with vendors and subcontractors for technical and other issues.
- Coordination with sourcing logistics order handling in the context of the Service
- Responsible for Enhance LCA training & Service project business to meet the Co. OI/ST Target.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of the customers needs directs the customer relationship with Clevel proposal pricing and negotiating the deal to completion.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 12 to 15 Years experience in Industrial Automation Control systems. Knowledge on Yokogawa systems and products preferred.
- Graduate in Engineering Process Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics.
- Knowledge and application of sales process
- Knowledge of greenfield and large brownfield and aftersales service
- Prior experience in GCC or exposure to GCC customers will be an advantage.
- Field and site experience will be additional advantage.
Competencies
- Technical background control systems (Engineering knowledge will be added advantage)
- Preparation of TechnoCommercial Proposal for Service or brown field related jobs.
- Identify the SOW and risk during proposal stages.
- Strong sales drive and ability to negotiate at all levels of customer organizations.
- Target oriented committed to longspan work
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office MS Visio MS Project Outlook CRM etc.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge and understanding of organizational policy and procedures.
Skills
- Knowledge of Yokogawa DCS system CS3000/CVP & ESD system ProsafeRS.
- Knowledge on Yokogawa products and third party.
- Very good communication (English and Arabic) and presentation skill.
- Attitude to learn new technologies. Energetic selfmotivated dependable challenged by multidisciplined problems.
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft Applications including MS Project.
- Good Problem solving strong Negotiation and reporting skills.
- Work experience in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint.
