Job Description
Job Summary:
Corporate Hiring Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Security Architecture and Engineering professional with over 10 years of experience to join our team. This role will focus on ensuring the security integrity and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology have strong analytical and planning skills and be able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain IT security architecture across the organization.
- Analyze and mitigate security risks associated with our platforms and systems including EC2 Elastic Beanstalk CloudWatch Docker ActiveMQ RDS/Postgres Firebase and Sentry.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Document security protocols scopes of work software requirements and project estimates.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.
Required Abilities:
- Intellectual curiosity and a strong passion for technology.
- Ability to collect analyze and interpret data effectively.
- Strong independent work ethic with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent planning analytical and communication skills.
Technical Skills:
- Fundamental knowledge of cloud platforms and systems such as EC2 Elastic Beanstalk CloudWatch Docker ActiveMQ RDS/Postgres Firebase and Sentry.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Java Kotlin and SQL. Familiarity with React HTML/CSS and JavaScript is a plus for frontend work.
- Desired but not required: Experience with React Native Kotlin and SaaS providers such as GitHub GitLab Sentry Intercom Airtable and Expo.
Domain Knowledge:
- Prior experience with railroad operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GIS or locationbased data and systems (e.g. Mapbox and ESRI) is a plus.
Experience and Education:
- A bachelors degree in computer science or a related field is required. Equivalent experience and education may be considered instead of the degree subject to approval.
- Previous experience in designing customerfacing applications.
- Demonstrated experience in project management including writing technical documents scopes of work software requirements and project estimates.
