Job Description

Our client a statutory body that classifies media content to ensure ageappropriate viewership protect children empower consumers and support industry growth is seeking a Human Capital Manager for a 6month contract to develop and execute HR strategies that align with their business goals.As a Human Capital Manager you will play a key role in managing recruitment addressing employee relations and driving performance through effective HR systems and initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands grievances or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development engagement motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies systems tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands grievances or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development engagement motivation and preservation of human capital.


Requirements

  • Post Graduate qualification in Industrial Psychology Behavioural Science or Human Resources (NQF 7 or higher)
  • Five years experience as a Manager in Human Capital. Knowledge of HR Best Practices Payroll (Sage People )
  • People Management Labour Relations Change Management and Talent Management. Financial Acumen and PFMA compliance as well as a deep understanding of all l related legislation. Proven leadership and Human Capital reporting skills.
COMPENTIES:
  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager
  • Peopleoriented and resultsdriven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases Experiential and functional knowledge of SAGE 300 payroll system
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Indepth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
