Job Description

Job Description
To oversee manage and track social media marketing and creative projects encompassing various platforms campaigns websites and email marketing.

Responsibilities

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Develop a comprehensive Social Media/Engagement strategy
  • Enhance social media presence through organic and paid methods
  • Create share update and maintain content on platforms like Facebook Twitter YouTube Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Ensure consistent messaging for clients across Africa on social media
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure success and report on social media metrics
  • Conduct regular meetings with brands and marketing representatives
  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Organize webinars tutorials and information sharing
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborations
  • Manage events and special occasions
  • Execute social media campaigns in line with brand guidelines
  • Prepare digital competitor analysis and crisis communication plans

REPORTING & STATISTICS

  • Provide monthly social media stats reports for brands

EMAIL MARKETING

  • Research and develop content for newsletters

TEAM COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Creative team on projects including sourcing content for campaigns and videos

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

  • Stay updated on marketing and social media trends
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and technology


Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Digital Marketing or Communications
  • 2 years of Digital Marketing experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledgeable about various social media platforms
  • Skilled in managing multiple social media accounts
  • Strong copywriting abilities
  • Understanding of marketing principles

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong project management skills
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies and their application in marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Strong planning organizational analytical and decisionmaking skills
