Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with 5 to 6 years of handson experience in managing maintaining and optimizing database environments. This is a longterm contract position (2 to 3 years) that requires onsite travel to specify locations.
Responsibilities
Install configure and maintain Oracle Applications Databases and Middleware components
Manage and monitor Oracle EBusiness Suite and related technologies
Troubleshoot and resolve database and application performance issues
Perform database backups restores and recovery
Work closely with developers and IT teams to ensure optimal system performance
Document systems configurations and procedures
Requirements
5 to 6 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA
Strong knowledge of Oracle EBusiness Suite Databases and Middleware
Experience with Oracle RAC Data Guard and ASM
Proficiency in PL/SQL and Shell scripting
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
Willingness to travel onsite for extended periods
Visa sponsorship and travel expenses covered by the company
