HR Specialist- UK Employee Relations

BYD UK is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist ready to support an ongoing transition to a highperformance cultureto join our rapidly expanding team.

Role Overview
The Employee Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work culture managing employee concerns and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with our companys goals and values
Handle employee grievances disputes and disciplinary procedures with professionalism and fairness
Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend appropriate actions
Collaborate with HR and management to develop and update policies and procedures
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters and best practices
Organize and facilitate training sessions on workplace conduct diversity and inclusion
Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Analyze employee relations data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
3 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role
Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
Experience in conflict resolution and mediation
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
CIPD qualification preferred
