Job description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Electrician/Auto Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, calibration, maintenance, and overhaul of electrical systems in heavy equipment, construction machinery, and associated components.Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic checks on electrical systems of heavy equipment and construction machinery.
• Repair and maintain electrical components, including power generators, switchboards, and control systems.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot electronic and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Overhaul and maintain protective devices and generator voltage controls to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibrations, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all electrical systems and components are functioning effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize equipment performance and address technical challenges.

Qualifications:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems of heavy equipment and construction machinery.
• Strong knowledge of hydro-electric, electronic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
