Job Description
Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist
Location: 2 Broadway NYC (Local Candidates Only)
Rate: $125 $130 C2C
Duration: 6 Months 37.5 Hours Per Week
About Us: Corporate Hiring Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Specialist for our client. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in technology a strong analytical mindset and domain knowledge in railroad operations and GIS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop customerfacing applications using technologies such as EC2 Elastic Beanstalk Docker ActiveMQ RDS/Postgres Firebase and Sentry.
- Utilize languages including Java Kotlin and SQL with optional skills in React HTML/CSS and JavaScript for frontend development.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and improve system performance.
- Independently manage projects create technical documents including scopes of work software requirements and estimates.
- Leverage knowledge of SaaS providers like GitHub GitLab Sentry Intercom Airtable and Expo.
- Apply domain knowledge of railroad operations and GIS systems (Mapbox ESRI) to enhance project outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role with demonstrated ability in designing and running customerfacing applications.
- Proficiency in core technologies and platforms listed.
- Strong planning analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively analyze complex data.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with React Native and Kotlin.
- Familiarity with SaaS providers and tools.
