Type: 1 year contract on W2

Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday Friday normal shift 7am3pm; overtime 5am3p or 5a5p

Summary:

As a Production Operator in the sheeting cell you will be a crucial part of our operations ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect peoples lives!

Key Responsibilities

• This position rotates between operating the sheeter guillotine machine and jogger.
• Sheeting operation includes obtaining base material (rolls) from the warehouse set up the sheeting machine to specified sheet sizes according to work orders and stage for the next step.
• Guillotine operation includes cutting sheets to a specific size and tolerance and completing quality checks
• Jogging operation requires operator to safely lift stacks of sheets into the required lift height for the guillotine
• Prepare materials and product for packaging and shipment to customers
• Utilizes scanning for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials (RF Scanning)
• Operate motorized and nonmotorized material handling equipment
• Teamwork and communication are essential part of the job
• You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts work any job and work overtime as needed
