On behalf of the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT is now seeking for a qualified candidate to serve as a Postdoctoral Fellow Manure Management and Climate Change. Both ILRI and The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT are CGIAR Research Centers. ILRI in Uganda is hosted by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT.

About the position
The position is part of the project CIRcularity of Nutrients in Agroecosystems and cobenefits for animal and human health (CIRNA) on manure management in smallholder pig and dairy farms in Uganda and Kenya. The duty station is in Uganda with expected travel to Kenya as needed.

Terms of employment
This position is a national recruited position based in Kampala Uganda. The initial contract will be for one year subject to a probation period of 3 months and is renewable depending on performance and availability of resources.
This position is graded at BG08 level on a scale of BG01 to BG14 (BG14 being the highest level according to the Alliance job classification framework policy).
