Client State of Georgia
Location 200 Piedmont Ave SE Suite 1804 West Tower Atlanta GA 30334
Note This is the Hybrid position
The selected candidate will come to the office fulltime during first three months.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users for hardware software and application issues.
- Manage and maintain AWS servers ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Handle IT helpdesk functions including responding to user requests and resolving ITrelated issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server issues in the AWS environment.
- Assist in the deployment and management of AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS KMS CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
- Develop and maintain scripts and programs for AWS management using languages such as Python Bash and PowerShell.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT and data security.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT support handling technical issues related to hardware software and applications.
- Proven experience working in an AWS environment where servers are hosted.
- Strong understanding and handson experience with AWS services including:
- EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud)
- S3 (Simple Storage Service)
- RDS (Relational Database Service)
- KMS (Key Management Service)
- CloudFormation
- CloudWatch
- Scripting and programming for AWS (Python Bash PowerShell)
- AWS Support services
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Experience with IT helpdesk functions and user support.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
- Experience with network configuration and security.
- Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices.
