ALL TEX Staffing & Personnel North Houston Client is seeking a motivated professional ColorLabTechnician to conduct color matching fulfill sample orders and help provide solutions to customer problems. Lab Technician provides support to the development of industrial manufacturing coating paint. Ideal candidate will have strong color sense care and attention to detail to sustain profitable growth while brightening the lives of customers. You and Technical Service coworkers work closely with Operations teams of Materials Scientists Coatings Chemists Production and Quality Control to ensure the best solution is developed and presented to final paint color.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Analyzes product samples (includes analysis specification comparison and reporting)

Aids in continual laboratory process refinement and improvements

Performs laboratory housekeeping equipment maintenance and other work as required.

Education

Bachelors Degree physical science or chemistry preferred.

Two years of experience and has demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of product specifications test procedures test significance and the value the larger organization derives from labgenerated analytical data.

Work Experience

None required. Color match QC and lab experience a plus.

Forklift experience a plus.

Chemical manufacturing experience a plus.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with coworkers supervisors and internal and external customers

Ability to: work in stressful conditions

Ability to: use computer with the Windows operating system to complete timesheets send and receive emails and access information posted on the Companys intranet

Ability to: to work on both 1st and 2nd shifts schedules and callout basis.

Ability to: Lift 30lbs stand walk bend reach walk for long periods.

Ability to: work with strong chemical smell.

Pay $19 Based on experience

1st shift 7AM to 4:30PM

2nd shift 2PM to 1130PM
