Position: Industrial Engineer

Location: Phnom Penh Cambodia

Responsibilities:

• Process Analysis & Improvement:
  • Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Develop and implement new methods to optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Use time and motion studies to establish standard work practices.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Production Planning:
  • Work with the production team to develop and maintain efficient production schedules.
  • Ensure optimal use of resources including labor machinery and materials.
  • Monitor production flow to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Quality Control:
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that products meet required standards.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework.
• Capacity Planning:
  • Assess production capacity and recommend adjustments to meet changing demands.
  • Plan for equipment and workforce needs to ensure seamless operations.
• Cost Reduction:
  • Identify and implement costsaving measures in the production process.
  • Analyze material usage and waste to find opportunities for cost reduction.
• Workforce Management:
  • Train and guide production staff on new processes and standard work procedures.
  • Evaluate worker performance and provide feedback to enhance productivity.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze production data to monitor performance and identify trends.
  • Prepare reports for management on production efficiency costs and quality metrics.
• Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure that all processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement safety improvements to minimize risks in the workplace.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with other departments such as design procurement and logistics to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Communicate process changes and updates to relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in the garment or textile industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Proficiency in time and motion studies lean manufacturing and other efficiency improvement methodologies.
• Experience with production planning and control.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:

• $1900 $2000
