Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment performing scheduled maintenance and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and professional service. This position requires a deep understanding of heavy equipment mechanics particularly diesel engines and hydraulics and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy and compact equipment such as excavators dozers and wheel loaders.
• Perform scheduled maintenance work based on customer needs and requirements.
• Respond to customer service requests promptly and professionally meeting or exceeding departmental objectives.
• Collaborate with the service team to provide highquality solutions and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of service work repairs and maintenance performed.
• Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely adhering to company standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Yellow Iron mechanic with expertise in heavy and compact equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Proven troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation of service work.
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
