Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing designing and implementing information systems that support our organizational goals. This role requires a deep understanding of both IT systems and business processes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our technical team and business users ensuring that system functionality aligns with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation.
• Design and develop system specifications including process diagrams data models and use cases.
• Work closely with developers and IT teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for system design.
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure systems meet business requirements and are free of defects.
• Provide ongoing support for implemented systems troubleshooting issues and making necessary adjustments.
• Develop and deliver training and documentation for endusers to ensure effective utilization of systems.
• Continuously monitor system performance and suggest improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in systems analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Proficiency in system analysis and design tools such as UML data flow diagrams or ER diagrams.
• Experience with databases SQL and data modeling.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific industryrelated systems or software.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in systems analysis or related areas.
