We are delighted to announce that the British International School Riyadh will be opening a new Primary school the Al Saqr campus at Al Majmaah a location that is situated around two hours from Riyadh. Al Saqr will be the sixth campus to join the British International School Riyadh group of schools. We have a range of new and exciting opportunities available at this fabulous location and we are currently working to put together an excellent team who will be committed to continuing our 43 year legacy of providing high quality of education for students in Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants at the Al Saqr campus to join a teaching team who will work collaboratively and imaginatively to provide excellent learning experiences for our students. The successful candidate will be required to work during the school week from 07:45hrs 14:45hrs on 2 days of the week and 07:45hrs 16:00hrs on 3 days of the week Sunday to Thursday. Staff work term dates and staff days are fixed and published on the school calendar in advance. We are specifically looking for individuals who are willing to contribute to our three strategic pillars of learning enrichment and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will:

• Make a significant contribution to the Activities programme after school including coaching of sports teams.

• Be able to contribute towards supporting high quality education for all students in their care and improving the quality of learning and standards of achievements under the instruction/guidance of teaching staff.

• Be innovative creative enthusiastic highly motivated and able to show a passion for learning.

• Demonstrate an awareness of the key factors that can affect the way students learn.

• Work with the teaching staff to ensure students flourish by creating a positive climate for learning supporting the holistic development of each student with a strong emphasis on wellbeing in an intercultural context.

• Have excellent interpersonal skills high levels of emotional intelligence and a good sense of humour effectively collaborating within a range of teams.

• Fully support the school Mission Vision and Motto.

• Have KSA residency status.

Teachers who work at BISR should have:

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher status.
• Certificate of Education PGCE or B.Ed.
• Training or qualification relevant to the post.
