Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial management of our company providing critical support to a wide variety of accounting functions. This position offers the opportunity to develop and expand your accounting skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Bank reports to AR team
Manage cash balances and forward cash reports
Bank receivables
Update prepaid schedules and book journal entries
Update notes payable schedule and recurring AP batches
Monthly accruals
InterCompany receivables
Accounts Payable receivables to General Ledger
Flux analysis and monthend adjustments
Review and update all assets and liabilities schedules
Misc tax filings
Assist with financial audit
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
24 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience
Proficiency with accounting software Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus
Strong understanding of financial concepts and financial management
Excellent analytical problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines
Strong organizational and communication skills
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: $60000.00 $75000.00 per year
