Transportation/Highway Engineer
Location: Farmers Branch TX
Summary:
Our client a wellestablished engineering firm is seeking Transportation/Highway Engineers to join their growing team in Farmers Branch TX. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in highway design particularly those familiar with TxDOT projects. Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads is highly desirable. The company offers a collaborative work environment competitive compensation and an outstanding benefits package. Please note that experience in TxDOT highway design is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Essential Duties/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited program.
- 4 to 15 years of experience in highway/roadway or drainage design.
- EIT certification or a Professional Engineering license.
- Proficiency in software applications such as MicroStation OpenRoads and GEOPAK.
- Experience preparing various components of plans and construction documents (PS and amp;E).
- Demonstrated experience working with state Departments of Transportation counties and municipalities on transportationrelated projects.
- Strong communication skills and a teamoriented mindset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
