Develop implement and adjust sales strategy based on deep understanding of market conditions and trends that is aligned with the company s strategic direction and goals.
Identify potential new markets and opportunities analyze trends and competition activities and conduct market research to make informed sales decisions.
Lead and manage sales team effectively and efficiently by creating a positive and collaborative work environment with the goal to meet and exceeding the company s sales target.
Set clear KPIs for both sales department and individual sales team member with regular review and action plan to address any under performances.
Train coach motivate and provide regular feedback to sales team members to ensure they have the skills and resources to achieve their personal and the sales department s targets.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers by understanding their needs and preferences addressing their concerns and providing excellent customer service to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with other departments such as Technical Marketing / Product Development Customer Service (CS) to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and company strategies. This includes sharing market insights customer feedback and other relevant information to support organizational goals.
Requirements
Must possess a Degree or Master Certificate ideally in Rubber/Polymer or Chemistry field.
At least 15 years working experience in sales or marketing or business development area with knowledge of rubber / technical rubber / polymer or chemistry industry.
Strong leadership skills and trackrecord in managing a team with capability to selfmotivate and motivate others to maximize their performance.
Customerfocused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver solutions that meet the requirements and preferences of different groups of customers.
Possess strong strategic thinking skills including the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities in a dynamic market environment.
Have strong analytical skills including the ability to develop and implement sales strategies that are based on analyzed sales data and identified market trends.
Possess good working attitude communication/interpersonal skills efficient time management capability and ability to interact with people of all levels.
Must possess own transport and willing to travel for both local and oversea business trip.
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook Power Point).
Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia in both oral and written communication.
Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and Oracle system will be an added advantage.
