Risk and Compliance Officer

• Develop and refine the company s risk management systems including credit market operational risk and internal controls.
  
• Establish and enhance the legal compliance system and manage the annual compliance risk plan.
  
• Implement and oversee annual work and internal control plans.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and update risk control procedures as needed.
  
• Manage account rehabilitation including collections and deal restructuring.
  
• Analyze risk data propose mitigation strategies and prepare reports.
  
• Review asset quality and regularly assess and report risk classifications.
  
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
  
• Provide compliance input for new products and processes.
  
• Handle legal and compliance cases and manage intellectual property affairs.
  
• Oversee credit reviews loan management and document quality control.
  
• Foster a compliance culture within the company.
  

Requirements

• BCom (Accounting) or BCom Honours in Risk Management
  
• Strong knowledge of POPIA FAIS FICA AML and NCR
  
• RE1 certification
  
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
