Job Description

A Regional Sales Manager for a Personal Care Brand in the FastMoving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector has a diverse and strategic role that involves overseeing the sales operations across various regions.

  • Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities understand competitive dynamics and stay informed about market trends.
  • Sales Forecasting: Predict future sales trends prepare sales forecasts and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales team performance provide feedback and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure targets are met.
  • Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts including distributors retailers and major clients.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products services and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Processes: Develop and streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely product availability.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the sales budget ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Profitability Analysis: Analyze sales data to evaluate profitability and make datadriven decisions to enhance financial performance.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns to boost sales.
  • Brand Positioning: Ensure that the brand is positioned correctly in the market to attract and retain customers.
  • Sales Reports: Generate detailed sales reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize sales data and analytics to identify trends track performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with local national and industry regulations and standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and service across all sales operations.
  • Identify Opportunities: Continuously seek out and implement new opportunities for business growth and improvement.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated with the latest sales techniques tools and industry trends to provide continuous training and development for the sales team.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing product development finance and supply chain to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment with the companys vision and objectives.

In this role the Regional Sales Manager must demonstrate strong leadership analytical and communication skills along with a deep understanding of the FMCG sector and personal care market dynamics.

Candidates with experience in managing PERSONAL CARE / COSMETICS / FRAGRANCE will be given preference
