Job Description

Team

The Lending Operations team is part of the agile and innovative Operations department and is responsible for all activities related to loan processing at Raisin Bank particularly in the areas of fronting factoring and refactoring. The team takes over the processing of the purchase and return or resale of the receivables. The team is also responsible for checking collateral creating loan templates obtaining credit reports and creating reports.

As the future Head of Lending Operations you will take over the technical and personnel management of the team and use your leadership strength to ensure optimal results efficient processes and the further development of the team. The focus for you is team spirit employee development and ongoing process optimization.

With your knowledge in the credit sector you will establish efficient onboarding processes for new cooperation partners and products. In addition you appear confident in communication and correspondence with cooperation partners in the fronting and factoring business as well as in discussions with auditors from internal or external auditing.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for a growing team of currently 8 employees.
  • You are the first point of contact for the Lending Operations team both professionally and disciplinarily.
  • You work on the continuous development of process flows automation and IT solutions for your team.
  • You report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Raisin Bank and are part of the market side. Your main contact persons are the Head of Lending (market side) and the Head of Credit Risk Management & Governance (back office side).
  • You promote open communication and a culture of trust.
  • When onboarding new cooperation partners you establish efficient processes in close coordination with other departments and are responsible for process documentation.
  • You actively participate in the introduction of new products (NPP).

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed studies.
  • You have several years of professional experience in the banking or finance sector ideally in the back office in the credit area or similar areas.
  • You have knowledge of the regulatory requirements for the credit processes.
  • You have excellent skills in dealing with and communicating with employees. Ideally you have experience in managing employees.
  • You are ITsavvy and confident in using MS Office applications.
  • You have analytical thinking skills and a good understanding of numbers.
  • You are characterized by the ability to work in a team flexibility and strong communication.
  • You have good written and spoken German skills and also good English skills.
