Pacemo was founded in Hamburg in 2016 with the aim of digitising the funeral industry. You will report directly to our CEO Alexander and CFO Fredrik you are excited about entering into this newly created role to provide operational leadership continuous improvement and a data driven approach to solve complex problems.
Tasks
About the role
- Your main responsibility is overseeing the daytoday operations to ensure efficient & effective management of resources processes and people
- You manage various business functions and team members in particular talent people legal strategy operations and analytics
- You will manage our company goals creation operation and completion
- You will take responsibility for team structure along with our Founders and People Lead
- You will manage research and resolve company risks and strategic questions
- You have a passion for proactively identifying areas of improvement in the business and implementing operational efficiency
- You are comfortable taking ownership of both major and minor strategic projects such as managing office relocation
- You will work with our founders providing assistance in investor relations and preparation for board meetings
- You are excited to take on ad hoc legal projects as needed
- You have a knack for researching strategic questions via company analytics platform and data analysis
- You are keen on becoming our DACH manager
Requirements
About you
- You are a strong communicator and have empathy and teamorientation as well as good sense of humour
- You have excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
- You have relevant experience in a similar role as well as experience in B2B SaaS and scaling models
- You are strategic by nature and always thinking of the bigger picture
- You possess strong emotional intelligence and are able to maintain healthy and professional working relationships in a small but rapidly growing team
- You can communicate succinctly and accessibly to internal and external stakeholders alike
- You are comfortable leading mentoring and developing a highperforming team fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
- You have honed outstanding project management skills and are able to apply first principles thinking to innovate
- You have a keen interest in all things technology and are tech savvy
- You are innately curious; love to learn & to share your learning with others

Interview process
- You will initially meet our current HoO Aniko followed by a technical interview with our CEO Alexander. We will finish off with a Culture Interview with our CFO Fredrik and other team members
