Accountant Fixed Asset and InventoryMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in Healthcare industryRequirement:1. Record asset transfers and retirements, update custodianship, and track assets from procurement to retirement, including monitoring gate-pass and entry/exit registers.2. Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and expired items, ensuring effective management and control.3. Plan and perform random and periodic physical inventory and fixed asset counts, scrutinize variances, and execute corrective actions, including generating and resolving discrepancy reports.4. Verify transferred and disposable assets, initiate procedural changes based on variance analysis, and ensure compliance with inventory and fixed asset policies and procedures.5. Assist with annual statutory audits by supporting the inventory and asset verification team, as well as internal and external auditors, and undertake any additional related duties as directed.Experience and Education:- Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance; preference for additional qualifications like MBA Finance, CMA, ACCA, or Supply Chain Management certifications.- Minimum of 5 years total experience, with at least 3 years in fixed asset or supply chain management, accounting in Qatar/Gulf countries, and hospital/healthcare public sector.- Experience in high-volume inventory or fixed asset environments, closing books of accounts in Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems, and working with internationally accepted accounting principles.- Minimum 5 years of experience with recognized ERP systems like Oracle or SAP, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, high-level analytical and problem-solving abilities, good presentation skills, and excellent planning and organizational skills. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable
