Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and personcentred nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant protocols.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients health conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualised care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress promptly identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
  • Uphold infection control measures to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and treatment.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in different healthcare settings.
  • Community Nursing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (RGN).
  • Proficiency in administering medications with a strong understanding of drug interactions and dosage calculations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and training in areas such as Equality & Diversity Fire Training First Aid Food Hygiene Health & Safety Training Infection Control Manual Handling and Vulnerable Adults.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills allowing effective collaboration with patients families and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to adapt to different healthcare environments and work well in diverse teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities to provide safe and effective care.
  • Respect for patient confidentiality and commitment to maintaining professional ethics.
