Job Summary:
The Network Administrator will be the first point of contact for all ITrelated issues within the company which includes two manufacturing plants and our corporate office in Louisville and a manufacturing plant in Fishers IN. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure providing technical support to our staff and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong problemsolving skills excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to IT support.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide firstlevel support for hardware software and network issues to all employees via phone email or inperson.
Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner escalating complex problems to higherlevel IT staff when necessary.
MS Office O365 and IP Phone system administration.
System Maintenance: Assist with the installation configuration and maintenance of computer systems software and networks.
Conduct basic training sessions for employees on new software applications and IT policies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all support requests resolutions and other relevant information using the companys ticketing system.
Asset Management: Track and manage IT assets including hardware inventory software licenses and user access permissions.
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and support of IT systems.
Security: Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security protocols to protect company data and systems and plant security systems.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements to IT services and processes.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Education: AS or BS degree in I Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT support role preferably in a design construction or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems Microsoft Office Suite and common IT support tools. Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic server administration. CADCAM system knowledge is preferred.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical users.
ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to travel between plants as needed.
Must be able up to lift to fifty pounds at times.
