Regional Supply Chain Manager - APAC - Scott Bader

Job description

You will be working incollaboration with local purchasing and ensuring that the plantsare utilised effectively through sound scheduling practices inconjunction with the site demand planners. Alongisde this youll beleading the management of site inventory with a focus on workingcapital whilst meeting customer demand. Yourleadership will ensure effective warehouse management alongsideefficient distribution working with inplant logistics partnerswhere appropriate to ensure finished goods are shipped safely andon time.

Youll be building strong relationship with tollers withinthe APAC region.

Some of your keyresponsibilities:
Youllestablish inventory management/replenishment strategies to driveimproved customer service levels while minimising inventoryinvestment. Liaison with APAC Procurement andAPAC S&OP to set site supply chain strategy.

Support in negotiations of APAC site specific

RM and indirect contracts. Ensure sitescheduling meets utilises the plant assets effectively and ensurescustomer supply in conjunction with S&OP demand planner.

Manage domestic and export shipments tocustomers and sistersites. Control site COMAH inventorylevels. What do Ineed to be successful in this role Demonstratable knowledge oflogistics operations in the APAC regions ideally with experience ofhazardous chemicals. You have the ability toeffectively influence and gain the support of internal and externalcontacts and stakeholders at all levels. Youllhave effective knowledge of Excel at advanced level e.g. advancedformulas VLOOKUP etc You have a soundawareness of the demands of change management and the ability toaddress and manage conflicting interests.

Atleast one years experience of working in the chemical industry.

Demonstrable experience of Warehouse Management Systems.
