Job Description
Perform Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager for a wellestablished retail store in Rathdrum Wicklow. This role is ideal for someone with a background in retail management who possesses a positive attitude and strong leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daytoday store operations and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage and lead a team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the store is wellstocked organized and visually appealing.
- Handle cash management including tills and banking procedures.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels placing orders as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Work collaboratively with senior management to achieve business goals.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar retail management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work a 5over7 schedule including weekends and evenings.
- A great attitude with a focus on customer service and team development.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
