Assistant Store Manager - Covenience Store

Perform Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager for a wellestablished retail store in Rathdrum Wicklow. This role is ideal for someone with a background in retail management who possesses a positive attitude and strong leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daytoday store operations and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Manage and lead a team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the store is wellstocked organized and visually appealing.
• Handle cash management including tills and banking procedures.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels placing orders as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance and efficiency.
• Provide training and support to staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.
• Work collaboratively with senior management to achieve business goals.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar retail management role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work a 5over7 schedule including weekends and evenings.
• A great attitude with a focus on customer service and team development.
• Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
