Purpose of the role:
The Delivery Driver at Maison Franois Bakery plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe transport of both outgoing and incoming goods. Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager this role requires punctuality excellent driving skills and the ability to represent Bombay professionally in all interactions.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Deliver bread and other baked goods from the Bakery to clients and partners at various locations.
- Transport essential kitchen ingredients from suppliers both within Estonia and abroad if the ingredients are not available locally.
- Ensure all products are handled with care and transported in a manner that maintains their quality.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer interactions professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the Bakery Manager.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
- Collaborate with the Bakery Manager to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
What we expect from you:
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Strong time management skills and punctuality.
- Good understanding of traffic rules and safe driving practices.
- Ability to travel occasionally to nearby countries for deliveries.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading vehicles.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficiency in English at a conversational level.
- Team player with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
