SSIS SSRS ETL Data Engineer

Technical Skills Required:

• Associate or bachelors degree in computer science software engineering or 5 years equivalent related IT experience.
• 5 years working technical experience with designing building installing configuring and supporting multiterabyte data warehouses.
• 3 years experience with database and cloud platforms SQL Server SSIS and Azure preferred.
• 3 years experience with data architecting data mining largescale data modeling and business requirements gathering/analysis.
• 3 years utilizing inhouse dataintensive applications for end user reporting and analytics SSRS PowerBI Azure Data Studio and Factory preferred.
• Familiarity with D365 Financial and Operations Customer Experience data models
• Strong understanding of relational database structures theories principles and practices.
• Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.
• Proven project management experience.

We are seeking an Implementation Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience with multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O Project Operations and CE) data migrations with a strong background in Data Engineering. The candidate will assist in our data migrations (ETL) and validations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and ETL activities that align with the overall project data migration plan.
• Coordinate and work with other technical staff to develop database architectures coding standards and quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Facilitate the preparation and documentation of software requirements functional and technical design specifications.
• Design code test and document all new or modified BI systems data pipelines applications and programs.
• Develop the semantic layer metadata reports and report definitions.
