Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Accountant to join our team. The Sr. Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our company ensuring effective financial planning analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance excellent analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting forecasting financial analysis and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company s growth and profitability goals.
- Manage cash flow ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Develop and monitor key financial metrics to assess the company s performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decisionmaking processes.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.
- Manage relationships with banks investors and other financial stakeholders.
- Ensure timely settlement with partners according to their settlement cycle dates maintaining strong relationships and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Proven experience in financial planning analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Experience in the fintech or technology sector is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage partner settlements and bank accounts efficiently.
