Job Description:
Jack Laurie Cleaning Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Janitorial Supervisor to join our team in Kendallville IN. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple cleaning crews across various sites ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and client satisfaction are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff across multiple locations ensuring efficient and effective cleaning operations.
Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Train and mentor new and existing employees promoting a culture of safety accountability and excellence.
Manage employee schedules ensuring adequate coverage during 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Address and resolve any client concerns or service issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment ensuring all necessary materials are available and in good working condition.
Collaborate with management to implement new cleaning protocols and procedures as needed.
Monitor and report on the performance of cleaning staff providing feedback and support where necessary.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the janitorial or facilities management industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts with flexibility to address any urgent issues that may arise.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred.
Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fastpaced environment.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
