Job title: Supply Chain Assistant

Flexibility: Hybrid working with flexible hours

Reporting to: Head of Operations

Location: WFH/The Office based in Union Square New York

The Role

As US Supply Chain Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the sales order fulfilment cycle promoting the successful delivery of monthly sales targets with on time and in full deliveries (OTIF) to the Tangle Teezer North America customer base. This role acts as an intermediary between Sales & Supply Chain and is responsible for providing order status visibility to the business through collaboration with the US Third Party Logistics (3PL) partner.


In this role youll get to:

  • Hold weekly meetings with Sales Operations Supply Chain and US 3PL teams to provide updates on live orders and distribute the Live List to relevant teams
  • Own the daily Sales and 3PL Live List being the primary contact for all queries
  • Liaise daily with the US Sales Administrator and US 3PL to review the status of all orders and communicate issues that may impact on the fulfilment of orders
  • Release of sales orders to the US 3PL for packing and despatch
  • Be responsible for ensuring the Sales Dashboard is updated to reflect key dates and orders at risk
  • Support in the organisation and management of stock rework requirements
  • Provide Sales Team with replenishment dates for outofstock SKUs through coordination with the Production Planners
  • Support the US Head of Ops in inventory management
  • Liaise with the Ecomm Executive on stock requirements for Ecomm to maximise order fulfilment capability
  • Provide analytical support for investigative activity and business projects
  • Support in the onboarding of new customers and rework suppliers
  • Keying of Purchase Orders for the Supply Chain Team
  • Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on current ways of working and updating as needed.


What we are looking for in you:

Must Have

  • A minimum of three years combined business experience within any of the following areas is required: Operations Transport Supply Chain Inventory
  • Previous work experience as a Logistics Administrator Warehouse Administrator or similar role providing an understanding of the order fulfilment cycle
  • Intermediatelevel knowledge of MS software in particular MS Excel
  • An analytical mindset supported by intermediate excel skills using previous experience to solve live issues and support projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to review current process suggest improvements implement and support with process documentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to be agile in a fastpaced environment
  • Must be willing to travel to the 3PL location at least once per quarter including attending the year end stock count plus occasional domestic and international travel in line with business requirements.


NicetoHave

  • Operational experience including sales order and inventory management working alongside or as a 3PL.
  • Knowledge of global supply chains and the impact of multiple product supply points.
  • Strong ERP knowledge preferably MS Dynamics Navision.
