Job Description
Job Role :GCP Cloud Engineer
Required Experience: 46 years
Job Description:
Essential
- Extensive experience of building and deploying solutions in GCP using infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform Google Cloud Deployment Manager etc.
- Implementation of CI/CD pipelines (preferably using Azure DevOps).
- Proven scripting or programming experience for automation (Python Bash PowerShell etc.).
- Experience of monitoring and logging tools for cloud.
- Deep knowledge of Networking troubleshooting and configuration.
- Deep knowledge of security best practices in cloud including identify and access management network security encryption and incident response
- Understanding of Agile principles e.g. Kanban and SCRUM.
- Operational experience of supporting Cloud environments.
- At least one cloud certification eg. Associate Cloud Engineer
Desirable
- Any cloud architect / developer certification (GCP).
- Proven experience of micro services and containerbased systems (Docker Kubernetes).
- ITIL experience.
- SCRUM/Agile certification.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with cloud cost optimisation and governance.
