Director Of Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Leads design initiatives aligned with the firms mission and goals.
• Develops and implements design strategies in collaboration with electrical engineering leadership.
• Guides project design and ensures consistency and quality across all projects.
• Enhances the firms reputation through thought leadership.
• Helps set practice goals and strategies for the Executive Committee.
• Collaborates on budgeting and investment strategies for practice growth.
• Oversees design policy implementation and resource allocation.
• Ensures fiscally responsible budgeting and quality project delivery.
• Converts program requirements into effective design solutions.
• Monitors the design process across projects.
• Contributes to marketing through design narratives.
• Collaborates with teams to direct project design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering Design.
• PE Exam completion required; Tennessee licensure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering with clientfocused expertise.
• Experience leading diverse projects including programming site analysis and contract administration.
• Familiar with sustainable design and multiple engineering markets.
• Excellent communication skills and problemsolving abilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Revit (preferred) and Microsoft Office.
